An evil sorcerer named Viscerus, helped by his four disciples, is attempting dark rituals to resurrect old terrors; and has apparently already restored the unliving deathkings to their semblance of life once more. Not wanting to see all your hard work undone, you set to find the stone circle which will lead you to Viscerus' keep, and from there access the four domains of his apprentices where you will gather the artifacts needed to reach and confront the demented sorcerer. Korax mod v4 beta 3
play the original Hexen levels in Direct 3D / OpenGL with some new RPG features, making for a much more differentiated gameplay according to which class you play. Korax Mod is based on the famous jHexen port by SkyJake, providing some outstanding lightning effects and flares.
This gameplay mode has a lot of cool features, like a spell casting system for every class, depending on the player class that you select you will be able to cast some spells, as the mage you will be able to cast up to 7 different spells acquired by raising your experience level, as the cleric you will be able to cast up to 4 different spells, and the fighter has the berserker to use. Each class has different attributes and different restrictions to use armor and some artifacts, giving more challenge for the game, also some of the monsters health points have been raised to make a decent match for all of this. This Hexen multiplayer Total Conversion is our idea of how multiplayer games should be done in the Hexen world, using our famous RPG leveling system, combined with deadly weapons, base abilities for every class and fast paced action in fantasy maps. Korax Arena will feature lots of new gameplay modes besides the classic deathmatch, some of these new gameplay modes will include funny and different experiences for the players involved, from different teams that combine against a single enemy, to enemy monsters fightning against every player, while the players compete against them, a total blast of fast paced action on some known places and new ones to create a whole new experience of multiplayer gaming in the world of Hexen. i am uploading this just to give you guys an idea of what you can expect from the mod. This map is still in progress but it is relatively done for what i want done to it. This rar file contains, Winnowinghall, The Seven Portals, and Shadowwood. They are not final, and there will be changes in the final upload, which will obviously contain the finished project, this is just a taste.
I DO realize that there are some issues on the maps, quite a few textures are not lined up entirely on Winnowing Hall, there is a missing sprite on the map also, and just a few other things. All of the issues will eventually reveal themselves to me before i release the full mod, so do not worry.![Beta Demo Release]()
